So we did Kuroshitsuji II 05.. now that’s interesting. This is our first speedsub so leave any comment on what you think. We will continue if the reception is good.

Anyway.. yes you’re right. We’re discussing the matter right now. Probably we will do what you say; hardsubbing the OP/ED. But I’m NOT an encoder, so probably it will not be done quickly. I’ll try my best though.
We did not exist when Kuro started airing. I wanted to do Kuro.. then we made a decision on doing a test on Kuro 5.. Getting the sub out quick and have a good quality. We made it. The first four might be subbed when BD-rips appears…

First of all, congratulations! For a fast sub, it has a really good quality and the translation is not bad at all. I like the look of your karaokes, but as Kumiko_Shiina says, it kills the RAM of my computer too, so I had to skip them.
Enough of the good, lets head for the bad:
Did you see the first season of Kuroshitsuji? (Or did your translator saw it?) If the answer is “No”, then that explains a couple of errors.
Number one, its “Funtom Company” not “Phantom Company”. I know it sound weird, but that was a small surprise that appeared on episode 14 of the first season, written in a chocolate wrapper.
And the other small error is the phrase that Sebastian says at the end of the episode (at 22 minutes, I think): “I will grant your every wish until the very day our contract completes and parts our souls”. I think (but I may be wrong) that the last part is not right. In the first season, Sebastian repeats that phrase many times, and I seem to recall that it ended with “until the very day our contract completes and I acquire your soul” or something like that. (It may have been “Your soul is mine” too). And my Japanese is nothing to boast about (nor my English), but I think the verb Sebastian uses in that phrase is “hikitoru”, and the Jim Breen dictionary says that “引き取る(P); 引取る(io)(P); 引きとる 【ひきとる】 (v5r,vt) to take charge of; to take over; to retire to a private place;”, which I think would make my case.
All in all, I think is a really good release, and really would like to see you doing the rest of the series.

Translator here. Thank you for your feedback; indeed, as you could tell, I did not pay much attention to the first series. The Funtom bit is a surprise, but you are absolutely correct on the second one (what was I thinking? I guess I spent way too much time thinking about how to deal with Alois’ mysterious spells in that scene).
We’re working on a revision at the moment and hope to release it after a proper translation/quality check. Of course, these two errors will be fixed :)

And as you’re making a revision, there’s an “n” at the final of Prince Soma’s name, when Agni makes his introduction to Ciel, that shouldn’t be there (about minute 8).

I did [Commie]‘s release which came out about the same time, I think we have about the same quality except you made a number of small translation mistakes here and there. Also, it seems you’re still learning out to pick out fonts and make karaokes – the kanji in the OP was unreadable and I don’t think your choices of fonts are aesthetically pleasing.
IMO if you are a new group, try subbing something else, Kuro II is heavily oversubbed and [Commie]‘s got the speedsubbing of it covered (we’ve been subbing for a long and have got a system perfected by now). Wait for Shinsen if you want hardsubs.
You guys are fast subers, who give accurate translations and good quality videos. If you don’t do this project then you’re skills are wasted :)

and great job on your first release of Kuroshitsuji ^.^ I really enjoyed watching your subs. and thank you so much for subbing this awesome series. As a speedsub, you guys are amazing at putting lyrics :). some groups don’t even bother to do that. but i think you should change the font style for the ending song. it was quite hard for me follow.

Regarding OP/ED, we’re making a new hardcoded v2 with many good and important fixes which soon will be released. I’ll see what I can do with the ED fonts. Thank you for all your responses!
